Mixed Media Madness

I was really beginning to wonder if I would ever get back to my blog. My life has been so hectic, and full of distractions that I just have not been able to get on a good schedule. After renovating my entire home, and having a scrapbook/craft room that I have always dreamed of I thought it would be the complete opposite. But I am determined to get back on track, because I know that creating calms me.

One of my goals has been to share my art work with others. I have been to many art sales and done well. So I thought it was time to start online. A few weeks ago I launched Cat-Scrap Creations on Facebook and I plan to be opening an Etzy Shop within the next month. It is all a little intimidating seeing all of the beautiful and gorgeous work out there. But you never know if you will succeed if you never even try. So why not dive right in? What's the worse that could happen?

So Hello to all my new friends that have stopped here from Facebook. THANK YOU for stopping in to take a look at my blog. And to all of my followers, THANK YOU for sticking around.
In the future as my Facebook numbers grow I will be having more give-a-ways. If you follow my blog and Like my Facebook page you will be entered twice.

Today I will share with you the canvases that I have for sale on my Facebook page.

This canvas had me smiling the entire time I was creating it. It took me much longer than I intended,  because it always felt like it was missing something. Then I added "Hello Sunshine" and it was just what it needed.
A wonderful Scrappy friend of mine asked me if I could make another canvas of a hound to go with this canvas for her adorable twin baby boys. I haven't completed it yet but when I do I will be sure to share!!!
So this canvas is sold. Any canvas that is sold I can make another, however no 2 canvases will be exactly alike as they are all originals.

The beautiful rich aqua/teal and coffee black/brown look amazing on these little gems. They are wooden frames that can be hung or sat on a shelf.

Spring is here and so are these gorgeous flowers. I just love all the greens with a touch of mulberry.
These are painted on canvas and have a base of old book paper that gives them a very slight rustic look. They can be hung or placed on a shelf.

How fun are these??? Each on is a different height but the same width. They are painted on solid wood and then covered with little diamonds of lots and lots
of different patterned papers, and then distressed. They are just so darn cute. They can be bought as a set of 3 or as single pieces. Depending on that choice the price will very.
Once again these can be hung on the wall or sat on a shelf.

If you see anything you like but the colour isn't right for your home, I can create something that fits you perfectly.
